The Western astrological sign of Aquarius forms part of the tropical zodiac (January 20 – February 18) and of the sidereal zodiac (February 13 – March 14).
Aquarius is associated with the classical element Air, and thus called an Air Sign (with Libra and Gemini). It is also one of the four fixed signs (along with Taurus, Leo and Scorpio). Its polar opposite is Leo. It is the domicile of Saturn and Uranus. Aquarius’s symbol is the water-bearer.
The Western astrological sign of Pisces is part of the tropical zodiac (February 19 – March 20) and the sidereal zodiac (March 15 – April 13). It is associated with the constellation Pisces and the classical element Water, making it a Water sign. Pisces is also one of the Mutable signs (along with Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius) Its symbol is the fish. It is traditionally considered to be ruled by the planet Jupiter and now considered by astrologers to be ruled by Neptune. Pisces is the sign of exaltation for Venus, but the sign of detriment or fall for Mercury.
As a Water sign, Pisces is associated with growth, identification and emotion. In combination with the other elements, water feels that fire will make it boil, air will evaporate it, but earth will shape and channel it. As a Mutable sign, it is associated with resourcefulness, holism and adaptability.
According to astrology, those under Piscean influence are spiritual–particularly inclined towards mysticism. They are also artistic and sensitive. The part of the body ruled by the sign are the feet.
